Olympic rowing gold medallist Katherine Grainger is among the 12 athletes bidding to become BBC sports personality of the year.
Her double sculls partner Anna Watkins, from Henley, has launched a campaign on Twitter to support the 36-year-old Scot.
Anna has more than 9,000 followers and she has been giving them reasons to vote for Grainger accompanied with the hashtag #katherineforspoty.
Grainger has won six world titles, four consecutive Olympic medals, 10 consecutive world championship medals and medals in all five different Olympic events.
Anna says she is the unofficial agony aunt for the GB rowing team.
Grainger, who lives in Maidenhead, is one of 11 athletes who competed at the London Olympics and Paralympics to be nominated.
The ceremony will be held at the ExCel Centre in London on December 16 and broadcast live.
