A TORCHLIGHT procession will be held on Christmas Eve in Goring and Streatley.
The procession will start at the junction of Upper Red Cross Road and the High Street in Goring at 6pm.
It will be carried to Streatley Meadows, where there will be a bonfire and carol singing.
People walking from Goring should enter the meadows by Church Lane and through the gate next to the allotments rather than via The Swan car park.
There will be no parking on the High Street adjacent to Streatley Meadows during the evening.
Torches are on sale at Goring Hardware and Westholme Store for £4 each. There will be a collection after the carol singing in aid of various local charities, including the Sue Ryder hospice at Nettlebed.
Marshals are still needed for the event to ensure the procession runs safely and a volunteer is required to take charge of the bonfire.
