Flood warnings for the Henley area were issued today by the Environment Agency.
The level of the Thames is slowly rising and the river has burst its banks in places.
Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected along the stretch that includes Henley, Shiplake, Wargrave, Hurley, Mapledurham and Sonning.
No properties are expected to be affected.
Heavy and prolonged rain is forecast tonight with further showers on Wednesday.
Last month, flooding meant some businesses were forced to close while farmers feared losing their winter crops after two wet spells in a matter of weeks.
In Playhatch sewage appeared in residents’ gardens as the drains couldn’t cope with the amount of extra water and Sonning Bridge was closed to traffic for several days because of flooding on Playhatch Road.
