FARMERS are urging dog owners to keep their pets under control after a pregnant ewe was attacked and killed in a field in Fawley.
The animal, which was expecting twins, was chased and attacked by dogs and died less than 24 hours later as a result of her injuries.
Police are investigating the incident on Wednesday last week.
Landowners are concerned that their animals are vulnerable with lambing season fast approaching.
