MORE than 100 parents and children visited the Crazies Hill Primary School Christmas fair on Saturday.
Attractions included a treasure hunt, children’s games, a china workshop where children could decorate their own plate or mug and, of course, Santa’s grotto.
There were mince pies, turkey rolls and mulled wine on sale and music was provided by parent Tom Evans, also known as the “human jukebox”.
Local traders such as Maisie and Oscar Craft and Gifts, Nadieh Jewellery and “Pampered Chef” Jennifer Winter had stalls selling Christmas gifts.
Children were encouraged to write a message for the “wish tree”. There was also a raffle and silent auction.
Headteacher Eileen Holmes said: “It was an absolutely brilliant day and lots of visitors commented on the lovely atmosphere.
“We are still counting up what we raised, which will go towards school projects, including work on the outside.”
