ABOUT 300 people attended the Nettlebed Christmas fair at the village school.
Father Christmas was in his grotto and groups of children took it in turns to see him and his elf, alias school secretary Tracy Sedwell.
Outside, there were two reindeers, Blizzard and Storm, who the children could pet and have their pictures taken with.
There was also a “secret” present room were children could choose presents for their parents as well as stalls, arts and crafts and a raffle.
Mrs Sedwell said: “It was for the children, so we can share with them some of the magic of Christmas.”
