JUDITH LEE was the final winner of the Henley Standard’s Christmas hamper competition — despite not entering herself.
Her husband Peter, 62, entered the competition in her name to try to win the £75 Waitrose hamper.
Mrs Lee, 58, from Twyford, said: “He likes entering competitions and sometimes he’s lucky. This time he put my name down so it was quite a surprise to win but I guess I was the lucky one!”
The couple spent Christmas Day with their children, Simon, Robert and Susie, and six grandchildren.
“It brings the whole family together,” she said. “There are about 15 of us altogether on Boxing Day.”
The Henley Standard will be giving away more festive hampers from Waitrose and Tesco in the run-up to next Christmas.
