A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl won the Kenton Theatre’s treasure hunt competition.
Grace Pratt’s prize was four tickets to the final performance of this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, and the chance to go backstage and meet the cast as well as a goody bag.
She was accompanied to Saturday’s show by her parents, Jason and Siobhan, of Gainsborough Hill, Henley, and eight-year-old brother, Eddie.
Grace, a pupil at Valley Road School, correctly identified 10 shop windows in the town centre which had an Aladdin’s lamp hidden in them.
Mrs Pratt said: “Grace really took the treasure hunt very seriously. She was looking for the lamps right up until the shops closed and then we stopped for a snack and carried on. She was thrilled to have won.”
The lamps were in Marc Antoni, Boatique and Frost Borneo, all in Hart Street, Temptation Gifts, the Bell Bookshop and Fluidity, all in Bell Street, Gorvett & Stone, the Oxfam Bookshop and St Audrey’s, all in Duke Street, and Gabriel Machin’s in Market Place.
