RIVERSIDE homes in Wargrave are again at risk of flooding, the Environment Agency said today.
Flood warnings for the Henley area have been issued as the level of the Thames has slowly risen due to persistent rain this week.
The Environment Agency said: "The river still remains out of banks. Flooding of properties closest to the river, especially in the Loddon Drive area of Wargrave, is still possible.”
Homes in the village were flooded when the river burst its banks three weeks ago.
Sonning Bridge has now been closed for four days, causing congestion in Henley, Caversham and Reading as well as on the A4 near Charvil.
Other road closures due to excess surface water include Spring Lane in Playhatch, Remenham lane in Remenham and Icknield Road in South Stoke.
Temporary traffic lights are in place outside the Piggott School on Wargrave Road and have caused congestion during rush-hour.
More rain is expected today and tomorrow.
