A SUSPECTED incident of rogue trading in Henley is being investigated by police.
Police said a man called at house in St Mark’s Road on Tuesday last week and told the elderly occupant the property had roof damage and that he was there to repair it.
After making some small repairs, he asked the householder for £8,000.
A 51-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of rogue trading the following day. He has been released on bail until April 4.
