BICYCLE owners have been urged to secure their machines following a number of thefts in Henley.
A bicycle was stolen from the front garden of a house in Park Road during the night of Saturday, March 22 even though it had been secured.
Another was stolen from the doorstep of a property in Albert Road during the night of Wednesday, March 12.
Police said the owner normally secured the bike to railings but had left it unlocked on this occasion.
Inspector Mark Harling, head of Henley police, said: “We would urge people to make sure that their bikes are secure and not left for people to take.
Equally, if anyone knows who is taking the bikes please contact either us directly by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
