JAN PRYMAKA and his birds of prey will be flying in for the show.
There will be two displays — one in ring three at noon and the other in ring five at 2.30 p.m.
There will also be a static display of birds on the showground and Jan and his team of falconers will be happy to answer any questions about the birds from show visitors.
During the displays children will be invited to feed the birds, including Q the hooded vulture, Zulu the Harris hawk, Sas the lanner falcon, Talia the eurasian eagle owl, Cklas the Russian steppe eagle and Ezrie the golden eagle, the queen of birds of prey.
Together, there will be more than 20 different species of birds on display with 11 taking part in the displays with enthusiastic and light-hearted commentary and Jan encouraging audience participation.
Visitors will be able to sense the speed of the falcons as they fly close by, watch the silent owls fly low over children and get the chance to have the vulture eating out of their hands — always a popular attraction.
