THE 61st Binfield Heath flower show will include new events and attractions alongside its traditional gardening competitions.
For the first time, the show will have the tallest mobile climbing wall in Britain, which can be used by people all ages.
There will also be a scarecrow competition with prizes for the best three brought on the day.
The flower show will be divided into 250 classes, including the heaviest marrow and the largest sunflower head. The dog show will included prizes for the happiest-looking dog and the prettiest bitch.
Woodley Concert Band will provide music. The show will take place from noon on Saturday, August 29.

The shows’s “big band” evening will be held on Wednesday, August 26, when picnickers can enjoy a three-hour programme featuring the music of Glenn Miller. For tickets, call 01189 724569.
