STUDENTS have presented £1,000 to the Henley Emergency Response Team.
The year 10 pupils at Gillotts School in Henley began fund-raising following the earthquake in Haiti in January.
The team, which operates from the Henley Business School, spent more than a week in the Caribbean country treating casualties and delivering aid.
Team leader Gary Foo, from Shiplake, gave a presentation to pupils about the mercy mission.
Headteacher Catharine Darnton said: “We set the pupils a very hard challenge to work as a year group and come up with ways to raise money. The amount they raised is fantastic.”
Fund-raising ideas included busking in the canteen and washing cars.
