CHILDREN enjoyed visiting a home-made museum at their school as part of an art week.
Exhibits were contributed by parents and staff for the displays at Watlington Primary School.
Pupils visited the temporary museum and then created pieces of art inspired by what they had seen. Some painted silhouettes, self-portraits or Aboriginal-style pictures while others made collages with textiles.
Jean Norman, the school’s arts co-ordinator, said: “The children enjoyed it so much and there was a real buzz throughout the week. Next year I think we will have even more things in the museum.”
