HENLEY is bracing itself for a cold snap after snow fell this morning.
Oxfordshire County Council dispatched gritters at 7pm last night as the snow was forecast.
The snow fell at about 6am today but didn’t settle in most areas. Up to two inches fell in Woodcote.
Today, the Met Office issued a yellow warning that outbreaks of snow, sleet and rain could result in ice. It said the greatest risk of snow was in the South-East.
Meanwhile, the county council announced last night that all roads that were closed during the flooding are now open again.
