More animals abandoned

THE Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre was founded more than 50 years ago.

DBARC has since grown into a fantastic facility for the care of animals in need of rehoming, due to the inspiration of Mrs Brimblecombe.

However, the centre has welcomed an increasing number of animals in recent years, and they are staying for noticeably longer.

Animals arrive for rehoming through their owner’s illness or death, or unforeseen catastrophic circumstances, but often they have just been abandoned, and some have been maltreated.

Others have never known a loving human and can be defensive and scared. The group aims to find all the animals loving new suitable homes. If you would like to be involved in any way, email mail@dbarc.org.uk to arrange a visit.
