MORE than 200 people attended a charity concert at the Kenton Theatre.

MORE than 200 people attended a charity concert at the Kenton Theatre.

Luciano Pavarotti impersonator Carl Taylor performed at the theatre in New Street, as he sang some of the Italian tenor’s most famous hits.

The concert was raising money in memory of former Kenton secretary Georg Briner, who died in November. Nine members of Mr Briner’s family travelled from Switzerland to attend the concert.



A PRIVATE dinner for 60 guests was held to celebrate Henley’s entry into the Entente Florale competition.



It was hosted by restaurant Luscombes at the Traditional Boat Festival at Fawley Meadows on Sunday.

A group of 10 judges from the Entente Florale European competition came to Henley on Sunday and were given a six—hour tour of the town.
