Pen pals: pencils, pens and other stationery were donated to the Rainbow children’s centre at the d:two centre in Market Place, Henley. The centre was one of nine run by Action for Children that received donations as part of a nationwide project by courier company FedEx. Employees donated more than 2,500 items which were then redistributed. Mary O’Hagan, corporate fund-raising manager at Action for Children, said: “This initiative will enable us to help children and young people get the best possible start to the new school year.” Pictured with donated goods are Kerry Rawlingson, Nicola Armitt, Shelley Hampton and Helen Towers
