MORE than 60 guests enjoyed a three-course literary dinner hosted by the Phyllis Court book group.

Author Louis de Bernières was the guest speaker at the private members’ club.

He published his first novel in 1990 and became internationally recognised with Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.

The evening was supporting Calibre Audio Library, the group’s nominated charity.
