David Cameron urges Henley to vote remain

PRIME Minister David Cameron visited Henley’s Phyllis Court Club yesterday evening (Monday)

PRIME Minister David Cameron visited Henley’s Phyllis Court Club yesterday evening (Monday).

He spoke about the importance of remaining in the European Union to members of the Conservative Party.

The Henley Standard was prevented from attending and reporting on the meeting after being told it was a “ticketed event”.

Mr Cameron arrived at about 5.30pm at the private members’ club with a full escort.

The venue was changed in the afternoon after the event had been scheduled to take place at the town hall.

Guests included Henley MP John Howell, Deputy Mayor Will Hamilton and Peter Hopkins of Mercers Solicitors.

For a full report see this week’s Henley Standard.
