Big-hearted Gary says thanks for all the wool

Big-hearted Gary says thanks for all the wool

GARY Duckmanton-Hibbs of Simmons & Sons, one of the town’s oldest estate agencies, would like to thank members of the public for all their donations of balls of wool.

Along with his property professionalism, Gary is known for his artworks and creative endeavours, including his latest project — providing hats for newborns at local special care baby units. When babies are born, they come out of a warm environment into one that can be downright chilly, so nurses immediately cover their tiny heads with a precious knit hat.

“Thank you so much Henley,” says Gary. “I have approximately 100 balls of various wool — fab! They will keep me busy, and the babies’ heads warm.”
