Sensitive development opens

Sensitive development opens
RECENTLY, Bewley Homes plc threw open the doors to the show home at St George’s Court in Pangbourne, an exclusive new development of just eight four- and five-bedroom homes.

Set in a mature and leafy location, the properties are just half a mile from Pangbourne College, and the land was previously the site of one of the school’s old boarding houses.

Colin Brooks founded Bewley Homes in 1991 and has nurtured its development into a thriving family business — his son Andrew is Bewley’s managing director.

From the beginning, “distinctive designs, sensitive to their surroundings” has been the cornerstone of Bewley developments. “Built-in tradition” is also key, as is a proactive approach to the sustainable solutions demanded by today’s national house building policy.

Inside and out, Bewley promotes environmentally responsible design and the St George’s Court properties clearly illustrate the company’s commitment to this — for example, their inclusion of eco-friendly features such as greywater recycling.
