Rotary Club

VIVIENNE QUANT, the newest member of the club, gave a talk to members about her job.

She has just moved to Henley and sees Rotary as a way to give back to the community she now lives in.

Vivienne was born in Shrewsbury, where she became a nurse and then a midwife. From 1968 to 2001 she saw many changes in the patterns of care and support.

After a career in midwifery education, she left to provide sex and relationships education in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, working with the Family Planning Association.

Since then she has worked as a caseworker for the Maidenhead Citizens Advice Bureau and now works with the Chiltern Citizens Advice Bureau.
