A COX suffered mild hypothermia after her eight almost sank during a race.
Di Yarrow, 34, was competing at the Head of the River Race on the Thames in London when it was disrupted by stormy weather.
Her men’s crew got into trouble about a mile from the finish as the boat was lashed by strong winds and began to fill up with water.
The rowers from Upper Thames RC in Henley managed to bail out the water before completing the race as more water poured in.
But their cox had to be helped when she was back on land as she struggled to walk.
