THREE Henley rowers were among the students who topped the medals table at this year’s European Universities Games.
The GB team, consisting of 25 men and 25 women from nine universities, took home five gold, three silver and three bronze.
They entered crews in 20 events and were pitted against rowers from 13 other countries.
All 20 made it to the A finals over three days of racing in Rotterdam.
Among them was Gemma Hall, 22, who lives and studies in Newcastle but grew up in Henley. She was part of a Newcastle University women’s eight that won gold.
