THE Shiplake College Boat Club gained success at the International Gent Spring Regatta.
On the first day of racing all squads broke down into a variety of smaller boats and the first win did not take long to come in the U23 coxless fours.
The first J18 eight won in an event that contained crews from four different nations.
Not to be outdone the J16 squad also picked up medal performances to finish third in the J16 coxless fours and third in the J16 quads.
The second day of racing proved to be equally as successful with wins in the J18 coxless four. The crew finished three seconds ahead of a crew made up from the Belgium junior national team.
The senior squad also brought home a silver medal in the J18 coxless pairs. Another silver medal came when the J16 to 18 coxed fours narrowly lost to Pangbourne College in their final.
The first eight entered the senior eights and finished in fifth place, just five seconds behind the winners.
