THE juniors at Henley Rowing Club continued their run of success this season with further wins

THE juniors at Henley Rowing Club continued their run of success this season with further wins at the Oarsport Junior Sculling Head at Dorney Lake.

In the WJ14 coxed quad event, the crew of Jess Arlett, Felicity Parfitt, Sophia Hahn, Livy Petersen and Esther Morgan as cox won gold medals in the A division.

In the B division, the WJ14 coxed quad of Emma Gray, Maya Andrews, Phoebe Fletcher, Amelia Crick and Emeline Warner as cox won silver close behind the gold medal winners of old adversaries, Oxford–based Headington School.

Henley Juniors also competed at Dorney Lake on Saturday at trials to represent Thames Upper region at the Junior Inter–regional Regatta in April.

The J15 coxed quad of Bruce Turnell, Cameron Jones, Lachlan Reid, Joe Zolkwer and Jack Broadbent got through to represent their region with the fastest trial time.

In the J14 singles, Henley sculler Tom Crook was selected.

In the junior women’s WJ15 and WJ16 events, the region will be an all–exclusive Henley junior women’s squad team, with the singles, doubles, quads, fours and eights all represented by Henley crews.
