Trinity School in seventh heaven

TRINITY SCHOOL once again ran out overall winners in the Chiltern Edge cross country winter series.

TRINITY SCHOOL once again ran out overall winners in the Chiltern Edge cross country winter series.

The Henley school has now won seven consecutive times in the competition’s 10-year history.

A dozen schools have been competing in this year’s three race meetings which took place each month since October.

This year Trinity headed off a strong early challenge from Sacred Heart to triumph with 198 points. Sacred Heart were second on 129 with Sonning Common third.

The overall team and individual champion results were as follows: Year three girls’ team, Rupert House; individual champion from Rupert House. Year three boys team, Trinity; individual champion, Ted Carter (Trinity); Year four girls’ team, Rupert House; individual champion from Rupert House; Year four boys’ team, Trinity; individual champion, Theo Lock; Year five girls’ team, Rupert House; individual champion from Eagle House; Year five boys’ team, Sonning Common; individual champion from Shiplake; Year six girls’ team, Sonning Common; individual champion from Whitchurch; Year six boys’ team, Trinity; individual champion, Jack Rait.
