THE Tough Mudder event is returning to the Culden Faw estate, near Fawley, for the third year running.
The London West event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1 and is expected to attract thousands of competitors and spectators.
The 12-mile obstacle course is designed to test physical and mental strength but puts camaraderie above competition.
There will be with some new obstacles this year, including the Block Ness Monster in which teams have to push, pull and roll their way through rotating blocks in deep water.
A one-mile course designed specifically for children aged seven to 12 has also been added.
Tough Mudder started in America in 2010 and now features more than 50 events worldwide.
