Oratory team secure grand trophy for 12th successive year
THE Oratory School Cadet Shooting team had a good set of results at the schools’ meeting
THE Oratory School Cadet Shooting team had a good set of results at the schools’ meeting at Bisley earlier this month.
Competing against schools from around the country, the Oratory retained the Schools’ Grand Aggregate trophy for the top score across all disciplines for the 12th year running.
All in all the Oratory won 13 first places, nine second places and four third places.
The Oratory’s success came in the Marlborough Cup (Yew Wen Thorne, runner—up Cameron Gray), Cadet GP Team Match (Oratory A Team), Falling Plates (Oratory A Team), Oratory GP Match (Oscar Clark),
Financial Times Trophy (Oscar Clark), The Iveagh 500m (Harvey Clark, third Charlie Dart), The Victoria College Team match (Oratory A Team), Cadet Champion at Arms (Oscar Clark, 2nd Charlie Dart), The Topham Quaich (Oscar Clark), Cadet Pairs (Oratory), Cadet Fours (Oratory), Spencer Mellish (George Hooley) and a tie for first place in The Wellington 300m taking second place (Oscar Clark).
