Come and see what we have to offer...

Come and see what we have to offer...

THERE’S no better way of celebrating National Butcher’s Week — which runs from March 13 to 19 — than a visit to Jon Thorner, the butcher based in Hare Hatch Sheeplands.

Renowned for their prize-winning pies, which are recognised at national award level, they are also highly skilled in butchery techniques and have an unrivalled knowledge of all meats.

Their specialist and friendly staff are always happy to offer customers cooking advice and ideas.

As part of their service they are willing to cut various sizes and joints to suit customers’ requirements and in the unlikely event that they don’t have a particular cut it can usually be obtained within two days.

As well as a wide choice of meat, Jon Thorner offers a range of frozen fish, breaded poultry and offals, quiches, scotch eggs, pasties, pork pies, burgers, sausages, bacon and cooked meat plus homemade cakes, fruit pies and crumbles.

As if that’s not enough, they also have a fantastic range of West Country cheese along with award-winning local Barkham Blue.

Why not pay them a visit and see for yourself?
