STUCK for a Mother’s Day gift? Give her confidence that lasts a lifetime through colour and style, writes Mikki Bennett of House of Colour.
When it comes to spending money, busy mums often put themselves last.
It’s totally understandable — mothers often have to put family, pets, friends, budgets and work first. Leaving little time to get ready, which can cause a person to lose some sense of self.
During a colour class I will find a personal 90-second make-up, 36 colours with a range of “wow” colours and the tools to look fabulous in a rush and on a budget.
When you look good, you feel good. You honour yourself when you feel great. Your confidence will translate into everything you do on a day-to-day basis, giving you a newfound motivation and sense of self.
Once you give yourself permission to look good, everyone wins.
After a couple of weeks, the other mums will start asking what her secret is. She’ll be the most stylish person in the playground, office and during any potential downtime. To give the special lady in your life a colour class, or maybe treat yourself to one, email me on mikki.bennett@
