BRACKENHILL Livery And Training Centre in Fawley was once home to dressage trainer Lucinda McAlpine. It has the most breathtaking backdrop that hits you the moment you go through those impressive iron gates and down the driveway. Horses graze happily in post-and-rail paddocks admist a tranquil atmosphere that cannot fail to dissipate the stresses of the day for anyone that goes there.

The place has undergone extensive refurbishment and boasts a fully-equipped modern yard with stabling for up to 30 horses, which includes a separate DIY barn, heated washdown area, fantastic indoor arena with viewing gallery, full set of showjumps, gallop track rides around the estate, superb hacking and 35 acres of grazing. They also have an Olympic-size outdoor school and the all-important coffee room.

Shelley Perham, five-times HOYS champion supreme and international judge is also available for training.
