Check in for a horse training clinic

CHECKENDON Equestrian Centre is offering training sessions for both you and your horse.

CHECKENDON Equestrian Centre is offering training sessions for both you and your horse.

Training is beneficial for both horse and rider and Checkendon Equestrian Centre can provide the following experts to help you achieve your goals.

Lee Pearson OBE CBE is a paralympic gold medallist. Lee will be back at Checkendon for another of his hugely successful clinics from Friday August 2 to Sunday, August 4 this year.

Sessions with Lee are 45 minutes long and for individuals or groups of two, with all ages and abilities welcome.

Morning or afternoon spectator tickets will also be available in the covered gallery.

There are also opportunities to train with Robert Pickles BHSF. Robert is a fellow of the British Horse Society (BHS) and teaches monthly lessons for all levels of the BHS examination syllabus.

Keeva Fox is a List 3A British dressage judge. She holds “Ride a Test” clinics at Checkendon Equestrian Centre, where a combination can ride through a test then discuss it with the judge and work on improvements before riding the test again.

This offers riders a great opportunity to discuss their test riding with the judge. Diane Followell is an international classical dressage trainer for riders of all levels.

She will be holding clinics at the centre every second Tuesday in the month from July.
