Canterbury double gold for Jones

A DOZEN Henley Synchronised Swimming Club swimmers competed in the annual invitation competition in Canterbury, Kent,

A DOZEN Henley Synchronised Swimming Club swimmers competed in the annual invitation competition in Canterbury, Kent, last Sunday where they all gained at least one medal each.

Charlotte Jones achieved double gold as she finished top of novice figures as well as winning the U12 novice duet with partner Izzie Moorhouse.

Iris Bennett and Georgia Hunter followed with gold and silver respectively for skill one figures. Charlotte Beadsmoore won silver for skill two figures with Eleanor Whittle taking bronze while also securing a silver for her solo performance.

Ruby Sarney and Sophie Print collected the silver medal for their over 13 skill one duet while Amelia Jones picked up gold in the over 13 skill two figures along with the bronze for her duet with Alexandra Turner. Chelsea Holliday and Millie Edwards collected bronze in the over 15 category.

The performances will be repeated at the Christmas show at the Henley sports centre on Sunday, December 13. Tickets will be available on the door.
