“We have got to have common sense, which means we cannot take any more people into this country. Yes, we should help them survive and live but we cannot take them over here.”    

“Yes. If they did more to help them in their original countries there wouldn’t be as much of an issue.”

“I do. When you look at other countries like Germany and Italy they’re doing a lot more then we are. We don’t want to let them in willy-nilly but we should be doing something.”

“Definitely. The prosperity of many countries is built on immigrant labour. I also think it’s a bit of a humanitarian disaster and from a charitable point of view we are obliged to help.”

“Imagine having no food or clothes or anywhere to sleep and you’ve got a toddler or children to look after. Anybody who is able to help them should be doing just that.”
