William Morris

A TALK on Victorian polymath William Morris will be held at Watlington town hall tonight (Friday) at 8pm.

Morris excelled in many fields, including design, literature, calligraphy, typography, printing and tapestry as well as politics. The talk by Christopher Rogers has been organised by the Friends of Watlington Library and is one of a series being held to raise money for when volunteers start to run the community library in April. Tickets cost £6 and are available from the post office or the library.
