Spotlight on creative students
A SUMMER exhibition of students’ A-level artwork was held at The Oratory School in Woodcote.

The display in the independent school’s Tomlinson Gallery featured figurative and abstract paintings, prints and etchings, sculpture, ceramics and film installations.

The Oratory’s artist-in-residence Joseph Ryan also displayed a collection of recent works entitled Blind Rhymes.

The school has announced that it has now started teaching the Cambridge Pre-U course in art and design, which is equivalent to a BTEC foundation diploma.Head of art Paul Tomlinson said: “It raises the profile of traditional skills and art history; it’s an outstanding, innovative course.”
