Celebrating Welsh poet

AN evening to mark the centenary of Dylan Thomas’ birth will be held at Goring village hall on February 28.

Actors from the Goring Gap Players will read some of the Welsh poet’s most famous works and tell the story of his life.

The event, which was due to be held at St Thomas’ Church but moved to a bigger venue due to demand, will start at 8pm.

Tickets costs £7 from Inspiration in High Street.

In September, the Players will be performing Thomas’ Under Milk Wood.
