Stars will brighten up cool autumn nights

ALAN Davies, Erasure, Jim Davidson and Jools Holland are among the household names appearing at The Hexagon in Reading this autumn.

Davidson will perform his new show No Further Action as part of the town’s comedy festival on October 8.

He will look back on his victory in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother and his recent arrest on suspicion of sex crimes, for which he was not charged.

Davies is also appearing under the festival banner on October 11. His new show Little Victories is his second since he returned to stand-up for a sell-out tour.

On November 5, Holland will perform alongside Squeeze drummer Gilson Lavis and Soft Cell founder Marc Almond. The following night, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook will give a talk and play some hits.
