QI dunce sparkles with new stand-up

COMEDIAN Alan Davies, star of Jonathan Creek and the resident dunderhead on quiz show QI, is making a one-night stop at the Hexagon with his latest stand-up show, writes Lesley Potter.

Little Victories follows on from Life Is Pain, a stand-up show which won critical acclaim not only in the UK but also in Australia and New Zealand.

Davies began his career in comedy in 1988 and was named Time Out Best Young Comic in 1991. In 1996 he took the leading role in Jonathan Creek, and the long-running show has just finished its latest series, which will be broadcast this Spring.

Little Victories will play at the Hexagon on Thursday, April 3. For tickets visit www.readingarts.com or call 0118 960 6060.
