Without hesitation, repetition or deviation, Nicholas Parsons, best-known as presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Just A Minute, will entertain at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury on Friday, March 14.
Last year Nicholas turned 90 and, proving that age is no barrier, he performed his one man show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the 10th year, taking time out from his regular broadcasting and charity commitments.
Nicholas, who started life as a straight actor before turning to stand-up comedy, will take the audience on a humorous and nostalgic journey through the memorabilia of his long and eventful life.
Seeing the funny side of every situation, he highlights with superb and often hilarious observation those events that have shaped his career. Audience members will have the opportunity to meet Nicholas, who is donating his time to raise funds for the theatre, over tea and cake.
An Audience with Nicholas Parsons CBE is on Friday, March 14 at 2pm.
