These girls look like trouble

HAODS are celebrating a double victory after winning another prize for their latest play, A Cask of Amontillado.

The am-dram group scooped the Colin Dexter Magic Moment award for the atmospheric opening scene of the play at last week’s Oxfordshire Drama Network (ODN) held at Abingdon.

The group also won four awards for the piece, adapted from an Edgar Allen Poe short story, at the recent Henley Drama Festival.

Actress Julie Huntington said: “The cast are delighted. Not wishing to blow our own trumpet, but this is the third year that HAODS have won the trophy! Well done us!”

They take the five-man play to the Wallingford Drama Festival next week. Good luck!
