A MUSICAL “lovingly ripped off” from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail is coming to the Kenton Theatre next week.
Spamalot plays at the New Street, Henley, venue from Wednesday (November 16) to Saturday, November 19.
A spokesman for the Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, which is producing the show, said: “Spamalot retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful showgirls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people. Did we mention the bevy of beautiful showgirls?”
Originally the winner of three Tony Awards on Broadway, the musical features book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle.
Showtime is 7.45pm nightly plus a 2.30pm matinée on the Saturday. Tickets are £20 with concessions available. To book, call (01491) 575698 or visit www.kentontheatre.co.uk
