SHE’S wacky, she’s rude, and she’s been described as a latter-day reincarnation of Mae West, writes Lesley Potter. Now Pam Ann, the air hostess with attitude, is making a return flying visit to Reading for a one-night comedy show as part of a national tour, Around The World.

Pam Ann, AKA Australian comedian Caroline Reid, is the new face of London Heathrow Sky Team’s Terminal Four and takes passengers on a raucous journey through security check-in, to boarding and (hopefully) landing. She has toured with Cher, and Madonna is reputedly a big fan.

The show has won rave reviews, and has been described as “cruelly funny” and “Camp, kitsch and breath-takingly rude”. Not for the faint-hearted, then. The Hexagon has teamed up with the Henley Standard to give away a pair of tickets for the show on Friday, March 8. To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is answer the following question and send it on a postcard, with your name, address and contact number, to Henley Standard Pam Ann competition, Henley Standard, Caxton House, Station Road, Henley RG9 1AD.

Question: What is the name of the comedian who plays Pam Ann?

The closing date is Friday, February 15 and the winner will be selected at random and the editor’s choice is final. The prize is non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. Normal Standard competition rules apply. To view the rules visit www.henleystandard.co.uk/regulars/competition_rules.php
