STAGEWORKS Performing Arts School students have been cast in the Kenton Theatre’s production of Aladdin which is on at The Kenton Theatre, Henley over Christmas 2013 following on from the run-away success of Cinderella last year - which also featured the StageWorks students.

School director Emma-Jane Taylor said she is “thrilled and very proud” that StageWorks students were selected to perform in the family favourite.

Director Heather Simpkin said: “StageWorks students have so much personality, they are a real credit to the school and such a delight.”

The stage school, which opened in Henley 13 years ago, has had a busy year having recently finished a successful run of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe at the Kenton.

With a new format, team and structure they are offering local students the opportunity to join their teams in Henley, Benson, Cookham and Caversham with a six-week free trial in January.

For further information on their new adult ballet classes, dramisco (disco and drama club) on Saturday mornings for four to eight-year-olds at the Christ Church Centre, adult jazz and all their regular musical theatre and street jazz classes visit their website www.stageworks.org.uk or call (01491) 877205.
