One fan’s tribute to TV smash hit show

ONE comic’s homage to one of the most popular American TV shows in recent years comes to Reading this spring.

ONE comic’s homage to one of the most popular American TV shows in recent years comes to Reading this spring.

One Man Breaking Bad — the unauthorised parody aims to condense 60 episodes of the award-winning show into just one instalment.

The man behind it is LA comedian and actor Miles Allen. His solo show has been an internet sensation with more than a million hits on video-streaming site Youtube as well as sell-out runs at Edinburgh and Melbourne comedy festivals.

Allen’s show includes accurate renditions of all the iconic characters, including Walter White, Jesse, Saul, Skyler, Hank, Walt Junior, Mike and Gus Fring.

He said: “This show is a love letter for all the fans who lived through the blood, meth, and tears of the greatest television show ever made. However the only tears in my show will be from laughter, and I promise no less when I bring it back to the UK!”

One Man Breaking Bad appears at the Hexagon on March 21. Box office 0118 960 6060 or online at www.readingarts.com
