ENJOY one of the best British comic novels in its original setting when

Three Men in a Boat
comes to Theatre Royal Windsor.

The stage adaptation of Jerome K Jerome’s 1889 masterpiece follows the adventures of three friends, J, Harris and George, and their dog Montmorency, as they decide to take to the Thames and navigate from Oxford to Kingston to relax and rejuvenate.

Originally intended as a serious guide to boating on the Thames, the comic element of

Three Men
soon took over and Jerome’s ripping yarn of friendship, falling out, mischief and folly celebrates the essence of Britishness.

Craig Gilbert’s production comes complete with working pub, piano accompaniment, music hall singing and a dog.

Starring as the

Three Men
are Michael Rose as George, Tom Hackney as Harris and David Partridge as Nelly, with Anna Westlake as Nelly.

Performances are from Monday, February 23 to Saturday, February 28. Tickets are £13 to £5. Box office 01753 853 888 or visit www.theatreroyalwindsor.co.uk
