MAXINE Peake takes the title role in a stripped-back, fresh version of Hamlet, being screened from its sell-out run at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre at the Regal Picturehouse in Henley.

In this critically-acclaimed version of Shakespeareâ??s tragedy, Maxine creates a Hamlet for now, in a performance hailed as 'delicately ferocious'. A number of other roles are also played by women, including Polonius and Rosencrantz.
